Another update from the Mwamba Kenya Mission...

Good news, the word from Kenya is that things are going very well!

Marshall:

This is Courtney Smyth. We just wanted to send you a quick email letting you know what we have been up to.

So far we have visited two IDP camps and distributed soap, vaseline, and femine hygiene products to the IDP's. Everyone at the camps seem very greatful and thankful. We have also visited a few of the schools that Mwamba sponsored students attend. We have also been able to give them school supplies for their studies.

Yesterday we worshiped at St. Luke's church. As visitors we introduced ourselves and told the parish the Trinity is thinking about them and praying for them always. The parish was very pleased to hear this and to have us as visitors.

Tomorrow we will begin the Mwamba Youth Retreat. The children will arrive in the afternoon and that is when we will start our activities with them. Some of the activities scheduled are a writing workshop, a camera tutorial and workshop, free time to sit and talk to the youth, and other get-to-know-eachother activities.

We will keep you updated on our activities and plans.

-Courtney, Chris, and Kyle
